Grab your flannel, comb your beard, grind your ax and join us for the 83rd Lumberjack Day Celebration in Stillwater. 

Four eventful days of live music from local bands, lumberjack demonstrations, beer gardens, bingo in the park, pontoon and gondola rides, various kids activities, a 5k and 10k run, Hammerschlagen, parades and more. 

Some key events to attend:

Kick off Lumberjack Days on Thursday the 20th with the Community Ice Cream Social at the Stillwater Historic Courthouse starting at 5 pm. Edina Realty will be there, scooping ice cream from Leo's Grille and Malt Shop for 50 cent root beer floats. Enjoy live music, a petting zoo, penny candy, jail tours, a civil war exhibit and more. 

On Friday is the Downhill Derby Race at Pioneer Park from 2pm-5pm.  Watch these fast and creative derby cars race down second street as they compete for a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place win. 

Saturday is packed full with a 5k and 10k race starting at 8:00 am. Join runners as they race around Lake McKusick with a start and finish at Pioneer Park. Have the little ones partake in the Little Lumberjack Parade starting at 10:00 am in South Lowell Park. Check out the Lumberjack shows starting at 12 pm and watch the much-anticipated battle of "Pirate vs. Politician Log Run" with Stillwater business owner Shawn Smalley (owner of Smalley's Carribean BBQ) and Stillwater Mayor Ted Kozlowski. End the day with live music from local bands such as Ruben, Har Mar Superstar, and Mars Jennings. Check out the full music lineup HERE. 

Join Stillwater locals (including yours truly) at the pancake breakfast on Sunday at 8:00 am at the beer garden with U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar, Washington County Commissioner Gary Kriesel, and Bridge Workers and we honor them for their significant role in construction and completion of the new St. Croix River Bridge. Wrap up Lumberjack days with the annual Lumberjack Parade. Kickoff to the parade starts at 1:05 in Washington Square Park. The parade will have live music, marching bands, dancing, pipe and drum corp, drum line and candy. Amy Klobuchar and Gary Kriesel will be this year's parade Grand Marshals.
